First School Meeting of the 2014-2015 School Year

Our first school meeting was run by Mr. Skiba and the fifth grade students.  The focus was on introducing the Core Values; respect, responsibility, caring, achievement, and honesty.  Fifth graders shared what each of these Core Values mean to them.  These students also introduced our new Essex Elementary School Vision Statement.  They explained it to the entire school and then we sang the new school song written by our very own, Nancy Adams.  Please see below for our new logo and vision statement.  Thank you to Jane Clark for designing a logo that represents the EES Vision!

At Essex Elementary School we chart our course, align our compasses with our core values, and launch ourselves on a lifelong educational voyage.
