I was so proud of MERSD today!

Mr. Carpenter introduces the MERHS musicians to our young students!

The Soundwaves perform.  They were AMAZING!  See if you recognize any former E.E.S. students?

The incredible Soundwaves!

Axel, former E.E.S. student, sings a solo.  The students were captivated!

The MERSHS band played for the students!  They were incredible! Such young talent!!!!!

It was great seeing so many former E.E.S perform!  What a special day for students and staff at E.E.S!   Thank you to the H.S. music department and Mr. Carpenter for making this happen!

Some GREAT first grade readers!

Without a doubt, one of the best parts of my job!  Working at my desk, and having three awesome first grade readers do reader's theater (Frog and Toad, Cookies) for me!  Such a great way to build fluency in their reading and help them develop confidence.  Thank you Miss Kelley for sending them down to "interrupt" my work!!!

Tess said the best part of readers theater is working together.  Kiki said, I like to act out the story.  Hannah likes to work together to become better readers!
