Project Adventure in Fifth Grade!

The most recent Project Adventure Endeavor

The Bosum's Chair is the first large apparatus that students have used so far this year in Project Adventure. Up until this point they have had challenges and initiatives that have helped them develop communication, trust building, team work, and problem solving. This apparatus is no different. The students need to work together to cross the entire width of the basketball court using only four wooden planks suspended from ropes that are tied into the ceiling. It may look easy, but I assure you it is not. Enjoy the photos!!!!

Social Emotional Learning in Kindergarten!

Mrs. South works with kindergarten students on identifying feelings.  They read the book, How are You Peeling? and drew their own feelings on fruits and vegetables.  The objective of this lesson was to have students identify and recognize their feelings.
