In order to promote a book series on a third grade reading level, Mrs. Curcuru set up a book tasting cafe. Students may take a book, read a small amount, or the whole book, rate the book on the rating form, and return the book. Students are asked to "taste" three books. We have Ling and Ting, Heidi Hecklebeck, Commander Toad, and some other choices.
Stayed tuned for the next cafe featuring take out menus, travel brochures, and cook books inspired by The Recipes for Adventure series.

Students participated in a whole school event today. They moved from station to station learning about what is expected in various places in the building. This helps all students to be clear on what the adults expect over the course of the school day. Students enjoyed hearing from various staff from station to station! Mr. Marche had fun modeling unexpected behavior!!! :)  |
