| This is one of my favorite events! The morning began with me reading The Principal's New Clothes to the first grade students. After this fun story, students marched around the school in the Emperor's Parade. The whole school came out to watch the parade and this year many first grade parents attended! The culmination of this fun event is the Reader's Theater that takes place back in the first grade classrooms. Students practiced their parts and read with great feeling and inflection. This is a great way to help students read more fluently. Enjoy the pictures! |
