The first school meeting of the 2015-2016 school year:

Today's school meeting was hosted by our fifth grade.  They led a game of Wheel of Fortune with the five core values as the phrase.  As students guessed letters, they then began to guess each word.  It was an incredibly fun game and great way to share the core values at EES;  Respect, Responsibility, Achievement, Caring, and Honesty.  Fifth grade students then read their thoughts on each core value.   Grace Gerhardt and Kyra Levasseur did a great job of engaging their fellow classmates as they led the meeting.  They walked over to the Vision Statement poster and explained the EES Vision and encouraged students to try and earn a card with logo on it!  The meeting wrapped up with our school song, Sailing, Sailing!  Ask your children about today's school meeting.  I am sure they will tell you how much fun it was! Thank you to our fifth grade role models!

It was a GREAT first day of school!

It was truly a GREAT first day at EES!  Students were happy to be back at school and our  new students were warmly welcomed by their classmates and teachers.  The school looks amazing, thanks to Rob Page and his crew.  Enjoy these opening day pictures and if you would like to see more happenings as the year progresses, please sign up for my blog!  Look forward to seeing you all at Open House on September 10!!1
