Fun times at EES!

Third graders are practicing their oral reading fluency with their reading buddies.  Cohort W. practiced reading with Cohort G.  Students created their own avatars and each cohort has a copy of the other cohort's avatars. It's a great way to stay connected when they have to be apart!

The Stars of 1K observed the effects of frigid temperatures on a wet t-shirt.  Think like a scientist!

The Stars of 1K observed snowflakes on Thursday!  WOW!!

Fun in the snow!!

Another great day of learning at EES!!

Mr. Marche having students do Tabata workout in PE class.  He uses a digital timer to count down for students.  Quite the workout!

Miss Stella providing constructive break time for her 4th grade students.   The timer helps for them to all return on time.

We still clearly state our learning objectives!

Modeling a student's thinking for students at home and in school.

Clearly stating expectations.  Teachers are doing a great job of teaching students at home and in the classroom.  Tons of work for them, but they have figured this out!  Amazing.....

If students have materials readily available at home, they are able to use resources to solve a math problem.

Scientists in Mrs. MacNeill's class!

Student scientists in 3M examine and identify fossils. They used what they learned to identify environmental changes over time in a simulated “dig” in the Sahara!!!
