Kudos to the 5th grade students as they help younger students learn about black history!

Second and third graders complete a scavenger hunt created by the 5th graders for  Black History Month. The 5th graders researched and  created a timeline of notable African Americans and their contributions to, and roles in the Civil Rights movement.

Understanding Our Differences in Grade 4

Students from MERHS shared information about their learning disabilities and strategies they have used throughout their school career to overcome them!  They talked about dyslexia, ADHD, and anxiety and answered LOTS of questions.

Our school community should be very proud of Will Finn, Rowan Shanley, and Maya Baker for all of their accomplishments!  They shared the many obstacles they have faced and how they overcame them.  4th grade students were so engaged in this discussion.

EES students listened attentively and made numerous connections.

The high school students answered specific questions and gave our students really GREAT advice.

THANK YOU to Dr. Allison Collins and Mrs. Louise Vose for organizing this powerful event for our students.   We are excited that this will be an annual occurrence.   THANK YOU TO WILL, ROWAN, AND MAYA!
