Change is Simple visits EES!

Third graders extend their learning about biomes and ecosystems with Change is Simple. After viewing actual animal artifacts from various biomes, students played a version of giant and jenga, where each block represents an animal. For each identified human impact, a block was removed, allowing students to make a connection between human impact on a stable ecosystem. Students also learned about positive actions they could take to return a population to the ecosystem.

They experimented with various toys and then used materials to build their own “toy” that moved in a certain way!
