Change is Simple comes to EES! Kindergarten students learned about what makes up our environment. They got a preview of what happens to a natural environment when people move in. Future lessons will focus on how humans change the environment. Second grade students played a pollinator game. They pretended to be bees who are pollinating different flowers. The third graders investigated endangered and extinct animals and their habitat. The students analyzed human impact on these animals. Students learn how human impact causes animals to become endangered, then created a species profile for their endangered animals.

Third Graders Making Digital Comic Books!!

Our new digital learning specialist Chris Dwyer has been working with the third graders to create a digital comic book. Students researched a person, place or thing from the Revolutionary War period. Students wrote a story from the perspective of their topic. From their writing The third graders created a story board comic. As the culminating project students are learning to use Pixton Comics to create a digital comic.
