Halloween Engineering Project in Mrs. Field's 5th grade class

Students brought small pumpkins to school.  They used classroom materials and small boxes to build elevators to lift their pumpkins 12 in. off the ground.  Students were able to explain the Engineering Design Process when describing how they built their elevator.  

October School Meeting...Our Hopes and Dreams for the school year!

Thank you to Mrs. Kasmarcik and Miss Oland for hosting this important school meeting.  The 4th grade students led  the meeting focused on goals for the year.

Ben MacDonald, Max Fritsch, Conrad Garfield, and Alex Hatfield all earned Core Value Compasses in recognition of showing RESPECT to classmates!  Nice job boys!  

Student Council kicks off their first meeting!

Student Council members kick off the year by creating posters reminding students to recycle.  They also made anti-bully posters and placed them around the school.
