FUN Faculty Meeting!

Have I said how amazing this staff is lately?????  Greg Marche, PE teacher, led the staff in games that teachers could use in their classrooms to help move students along on the Mood Meter.

Great activities for morning meeting or classroom team building!

Greg demonstrated how staff moved from low energy and low pleasantness to high energy and more pleasant through these various activities.  Teachers can do these quick activities with their students at different times throughout the day.

The Mood Meter in Kindergarten!

Last week the kindergartners learned about The Mood Meter and how we use this RULER anchor tool to plot feelings/emotions.

S.T.E.A.M. in 3rd grade at EES!

The third graders completed a STEAM challenge: create a house for the Three Little Pigs that the Big Bad Wolf can’t blow down. We are happy to report our Three Little Pigs are safe from the Big Bad Wolf. We lost one roof, one house the pigs were stacked on top of one another, and one design left the pigs outside of the house. However, all structures were strong enough to stand tall even with gusts of wind.
