Tournament of Books:
1. Students identified favorite books they have read this school year.
2. Teachers will narrow down the favorites to 16 books.
3. Each class (4K, 4O, 5S, and 5F) will make a bracket to predict the winners of each round, and ultimately the “Book of the Year.”
4. The books will be matched up to face-off against one another in competition.
5. Students who have read both books in each match up will vote on which is the better book. This will happen in all 4 rounds of competition.
6. Each class will keep track of the number of points they accrue for correct bracket predictions.
7. At the end of the tournament, one book will be the “Book of the Year” based on student votes. One class will be the “Champion” based on points.
