Friday's Annual Holiday Craft and Cake Walk was very well-attended, with over 65 families partaking of all the fun. Pizza was devoured, gingerbread houses decorated, and folks vied for one of the 48 donated cakes in the cake walk. This event is the Essex Teachers’ main source of revenue for the Ramsden Academic Achievement Award. High school seniors who attended EES are eligible to receive this award that was started more than thirty years ago. Since its inception, we have given almost $102,000 to deserving college-bound students!
