| Kindergarten Literacy Event.....the theme was called Camp Reads a Lot. Students went fishing for sight words, played Moose with cvc words, made picture postcards, read under the stars with books from the lending library, sat around the campfire and learned chants, and hopped on river stones to make words. Each student received a backpack filled with items that they used during today's event to reinforce reading, writing, listening and speaking skills during the summer. |
